Biography

My name is Brittany Butters and I was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana.  I grew up playing lacrosse and competitively swimming.  I graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 2007 and went to LSUS for my first year of college.  However, it had been a dream of mine ever since I was 12 years old to move out to Arizona to go to school. So when I was 19 years old I moved out to Arizona and went to MCC for two years. Then I transferred to Arizona State University, but shortly after transferring to ASU I changed majors from Dietetics to Asian Languages- with a concentration in Japanese. Recently I was accepted to study abroad in Hiroshima, Japan. So in August 2012 I will start a new chapter in my life and depart on an amazing journey to Japan. Wish me luck!
